Also in the Atlanta area, Roxanne spent seven years working in the field of adoption including infant and older child adoptions, U.S. and international adoptions, and post-placement counseling. She has also worked in the field of Early Intervention including therapy with young children with developmental delays and medical diagnoses and parenting counseling with families.
Roxanne, originally from New York, is married and has three children: one in high school and two pursuing Ph.D.'s in graduate school. One of her children joined the family through international adoption and has special needs. Roxanne values this life experience in parenting and believes it enriches her counseling.
Roxanne enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, bicycling, body surfing and reading at the beach, and is passionate about her dogs (rescues.) She enjoys taking long walks with the dogs and visiting the dog park.
Roxanne is continually adding to her knowledge about the role nutrition plays in mental health.
